Adjustable Outboard
Mercurry Outbord Float Levels 115HP 2002?
I have a 2002 Mercury Outboard 115 HP Carb 4 Cyl engine. I have discarded the top 2 small hole idle fixed jet carbs (No 1 and 2) and fitted 2 new carbs to the top 2 cylinders.Same as the adjustable Idle Jet Carbs 3 and 4 to allow it to run on all 4 cylinders at idle. The engine now runs very smoothly at low RPMs but only when engine tilted up slightly. I am assuming it could be the float levels may need adjusting. If so would I increase the height of the floats or decrease them. Or could it be the engine needs slightly hotter plugs. We are using 95 octane.
Fer Crist's sake dude, did you buy this thing just after the warranty expired? Sounds like you thought it was a good deal at the time. If the label says 'Mercury', ya shoulda just walked away.

The Benefits Of Using Air Ratchet Wrenches

Be sure to take into account the CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) requirements of your air ratchet wrench , which will need to be lower than the CFM of your compressor. High CFM ratings mean a compressor can provide more air, making higher CFM units more practical for larger applications.
