Air Compressor I have a husky air compressor that will only build pressure to 60 psi but the motor keeps running?
My husky air compressor is probably 5 years old. When I turn it on it will only pressurize up to 60 psi but the motor keeps running until I shut it off manually. HELP!!!
It sounds like the intake valves are bad. They are little spring loaded disc type check valves that are usually located in the top of the compressor head or the intake manifold. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. You can usually buy a kit that includes the discs, guides, springs and head gaskets if needed.

The most often used air compressors are portable rotary screw compressors. You can put the pressure settings from 100-350 PSI. You can find them ranging 65-1600 cubic feet per minute.
