Boat Notes Plan
What is the formula to find how many kayaks and Canoe can be made in 8 months?
Norman takes one month to build a kayak (K), and two months to build a canoe (C).
While planning ahead for 1 month, he notes that there is only one thing to do that will not result in any partially finished boats. That is, build one kayak. For planning 2 months ahead, there are two possibilities, KK or C. For a 3 month plan there are three possibilities, KKK or KC or CK.
a) Find the number of possibilities for a 4 month plan, a 5 month plan and a 6 month plan by listing the possibilities. Look for a pattern.
b) Find the number of possibilities for a 7 month plan and an 8 month plan without making a list.
a)1 - K
2 - KK , C
3 - KKK , KC , CK
4 - KKKK , KKC , KCK , CKK , CC
5 - KKKKK , KKKC , KKCK , KCKK , CKKK , KCC , CKC , CCK
6 - KKKKKK, KKKKC, KKKCK, KKCKK, KCKKK, CKKKK, KKCC, KCKC, CKKC, KCCK, CKCK, CCKK, CCC
b) the pattern is a fibonacci sequence, where the number of possibilities of X is the number of possibilities of the sum of the number of possibilites of the previous 2.
therefore:
7month = possibilities of 6 months + possibilities of 5 months
= 21
8 months = possibilities of 7 months + possibilities of 6 months
= 34

Could I be too adventurous for my own good? Could it be unattractive?
I'm pretty adventurous. I love doing things, that most people never get a chance to do. I plan on scuba diving, snorkeling, waterskiing, skydiving, snowboarding, surfing, and anything else along those lines. I would also love to learn how to sail a boat, and fly a plane. I'll try anything once providing it's legal, and not reckless. Is that attractive in your opinion, or is it just too much to handle?
* Also note that I'm not a tomboy or anything of the sort, I'm actually pretty much the girly girl.
I think you should stay the awesome person you are and not give it up for anything! You obviously love doing what you do, and why change that for anyone? Especially because I KNOW there are guys out there who are dyin to find a fun-loving and adventurous girl like you! Once you find him you'll be glad you didn't change yourself!
