Powered by twin 540 Chevy big blocks with intercooled twin turbos, producing 1000hp each.

Lowe Boats Stinger Multi-Species Series
Is the dragorossi stinger a good entry level whitewater kayak?
They advertise this as a jack of all trades type boat meaning it can run the river and be a play boat. I've been kayaking before at the US National Whitewater center and I enjoyed running the rapids the most, but I've never done play boat stuff.
I'm looking at getting one used if that affects anything so its not a ridiclulous investment. But has anyone used it or know anything about it? Could I go over a 15 foot waterfall?

I think any boat that is jack of all trades is also master of none. From the one review, it sounds like the Stinger is a little edgier than some boats, a little harder to pull off playboating moves than some, and at 6'4" it's not going to have the speed of longer boats. But still, it sounds like it does everything reasonably well (contrast with some of Corran's other designs that have a single purpose, such as doing aerials).
Is it a good "entry level" kayak? It depends. These days, it seems most beginners get steered toward a pure river-runner such as a Diesel or Mamba. But I think a playboat that runs rivers is a fine choice for someone who's ambitious (I started in a river-running playboat and still use it among others). The caveat, as always, is that there is no substitute for trying out a particular boat yourself.
Keep in mind that the handling of these smaller boats varies a lot with weight. The Stinger may be a great river-runner for a 150-pounder (including throwing yourself off waterfalls), but not so great for a 250-pounder (who could probably cartwheel it easily).
Sounds like a pretty decent price. I did notice the DraggoRossi boats come in 2 different varieties now-- fully outfitted for $1200 new or completely stripped down for $800.
