I think you should do the peroxide/foam experiment.
First, the steam-powered rocket boat experiment is doomed. There are just too many things
that have to be set up just right for everything to work. There are too many variables in the
physical set-up, so that trying to reproduce things multiple times so that you can get meaningful
data out of it will turn out to be a huge headache. Stay away from that one.
The iodine clock experiment does sound cool, but it also seems too simple. It's easy to set up,
easy to run, and you just get a simple result. Not very exciting. Besides, everyone already knows
that reactions happen quicker as temperature increases, so there is no wow factor.
The foam experiment sounds like it would still be simple to set up and control. Yet you get a
dramatic reaction that is also easy for you to quantify. That's important, because you need to
be able to measure the data accurately to get meaningful results. Also, the experiment needs to
be reproducible, which I believe this would be. You could even take the experiment another step
further by testing more variables than just whether you mix the water. You can use different liquids
such as carbonated soda, hot water, cold water, orange juice, vinegar, and so on. It just depends
on how ambitious you want to get. Good luck~
