how do you offset tool heights on cnc turning machines?
Two places to start are (1) the operator's manual, and (2) your shop supervisor.
On second thought, shouldn't that be written into the CNC program?

what is the function of CNC absolute encoder? ...Below is my understnadings ...is it correct ?
CNC absolute encoder is able to detect the position of three axes while machine is working. Even it is able to memorize the position of three axes (X,Y,Z) once the power is turned off suddenly during machining./
It's not so much that it "memorizes" the position (unless the encoder hardware consists of relative encoders and flash RAM), but rather the encoders have a unique output for every discrete position, and the system CPU is able to read it any time it needs to.
