Windows 7 User Account Control?
I'm trying to install a Windows 7 Snow leapard transformation theme, to make windows 7 look like mac OS. Anyway, The exe file that I downloaded says that to put the theme on and all that it needs to disable User Account Control. That kinda sounds like I'm not going to have control of my account, but... what should I do? Does it sound nessasary?
Requiring to disable UAC is only required for old software, really, really badly programmed new software, or ugly hacks.
I wouldn't ever disable UAC. For example, I know someone who was fooled to download malware himself, and noticed his mistake when its installer triggered UAC.
