What is the cost to mount a 250 motorcycle engine to a small Chinese go kart?
I know this is a job a 14 year old can't do, so I need to know how much it will cost some for an engineer... I need the cheapest price to mount the engine for me, so i can start driving it.
Helped with one swap- 250 Yamaha twin engine into go cart frame that had a 5hp briggs. Cost was about 3 6packs beer, a pound of weding rod-$5.00-, 10 lbs scrap angle iron- another $5.00. $20,00 miscellaneous nuts, bolts, chain links sprocket. Other parts dug out of garage spares piles. Cart went just over 90 in 1/4 mile at Union Grove first time out. A welder and racer could probably get it done for a couple hundred. Note that cart project was banned from other runs until rollbar and front brakes installed- was a month later and another $100 for brake kit before next runs- last time was a little ove 100mph. What engine are you planning to use and does cart frame have rollover protection?

If your engine mount came loose while driving, and broke, how much $ is the repair?
What do you think? It is a Chevy Cavalier, 2001.
Do you think the transmission repair shop may have left it loose after they put in a new transmission? Do transmission repair shops usually take out the engine? Just wondering why the engine is loose all of a sudden?
The engine is almost falling out right now.
Transmission shops don't take the motor out but on those kind of engines they have to prop them up or they'll fall out while removing the tranny, listen to first responce call them up and have them come get it.

You may very well be getting no results as a result of the client web interface being overwhelmed. Give the product a couple of weeks to settle out their usability issues.
Remember a search engine is never really seen by the end-users and their client based results may not accurately represent what they really can do. (you know the old – pay no attention to the man behind the curtain – good dog toto, good dog!)
I am sure they are getting completely swamped today with activity. I am not here trying to promote what they are doing either I just know how large scale software works.
It is going to be an interesting 2nd half of the year though.
I wonder if they will announce a Cuil phone as well…lol

This sounds like a really neat project. when I was in junior high I bought a partially-built go-cart from a friend. I spent all summer mowing lawns to buy parts for it and working on getting it running. It would go but not very fast. The trouble turned out to be in the clutch that was on the engine. Never did figure out what was wrong but I still had hours of fun monkeying around with it.
