German Jagdpanther Question about tanks in WWII...?
Was there any battle where the American M7 Priest and German Jagdpanther were involved together?
Yes, but probably not face-to-face. The M7 Priest was a self-propelled artillery weapon, while the was a tank destroyer. The M7 was used to deliver indirect artillery fire unto the enemy, but not to take on other armored vehicles directly. The thick armor and powerful gun of the Jagdpanther would have made short work of the thinnly armored M7.
