Inboard Model
I have a 1992 OMC Regency 19 ft Travis special Edition Boat. I can't find any information on it.?
Has anyone ever heard of this boat. It says the manufactor is OMC Boat Group and the Model is Regency. There is a emblem that says Travis Special Edition 19. It does have an OMC 5.0 engine in it. It is an inboard outboard runabout with a walkthrough windshield. I can not find anything on the internet about this. jeffwaters@sbcglobal.net
during the 90`s most engine manufacturers decided to go into the boat business also.They would build their own line and force their dealers to sell them as a package,sounds good in principle,not so good in practice.Customers would like the boat but not the motor or motor not the boat,so instead of increasing sales the actually lost sales.During this period there were many different companies, makes and models that quickly went out of business.
The answer to your question is you may not find any info.I`m not sure but i believe that your boat was a dressed up Bayliner.Happy boating

Hi Michael…
I do not find the boat stern heavy with the Monitor….I very rarely use the motor and have it stored under the cockpit. Do you have an outboard model or inboard model Folkboat? Would love to see some pics of your boat! I am slowly putting together this little blog…Great to hear from you! Talk with you soon…
