Late Forest
give me the answer plz im lost lol!!!! a fish and game was wardern captures and tages 48 deer in local forest.?
a month later he captures go deer and finds 20 of them tagged.estimate the actual number of deer inthe forest (set up and solve a porpotion)
You can't work this out unless you know how many he caught the second time (tagged and untagged).
The Capture-Recapture method can be analysed by the Lincoln Peterson model...
N= (M x C) / R
N = Number in the population
M = Total animals caught and tagged the first time (48)
C = Total number caught on the second visit (??)
R = Total number of those caught on the second visit that were tagged (20)
If that is all your paper says, then you could presume that all the warden caught the second time was 20 and all were tagged - in which case the population is 48. This is unlikely though, check the paper and add the new number into...
(48 x ??) / 20 = answer

Get away as soon as you can. Go to a friends house for a little while. I'm sure if you tell their parent's whats going on they would be happy to have you stay in their house if not do something about the situation at home. If your mom doesn't see what's going on there may be no way to get her away but when she starts to see through the mask he gives her, she will leave. Don't worry about her right now since he obviously doesn't do anythng like that to her or even around her.
