Can i get a 10hp outboard motor without the tiller handle?
I am looking at building a small boat and i wanted to use a 10hp outboard motor but is it possible to get one without the tiller and have it controlled by a steering wheel?
Depends on the maker but most I have worked on could have the tiller removed easily enough and most have mounting points for steering, throttle and gears. The remote controls must be designed for your brand of engine - although there are universal ones out there. For such low power cable steering is perfect, cheap and simple. Use spectra core braid and eye splice any ends using thimbles preferably.

How It's Made OUTBOARD MOTORS
Does anyone know where I can find a Briggs & Stratton Electric outboard motor?
I live on an e-lake and am searching for a Briggs & Stratton electric outboard motor. I've heard they discontinued making them but I'm sure there are a few used ones out there for sale.
Briggs and Stratton don't manufacture electrics. Try getting a MinnKota or MotorGuide. Both are excellent products and, hey, you can get parts for them.

What I see is a HUGE middle class compared to the old days when I was growing up. When I drive around this country, I see mile after mile of subdivisions full of brick houses where the middle class lives so much better than their parents in terms of housing, jobs, and toys. My father died with a little 14ft boat and a 50hp outboard motor and he thought he’d done great. At the boat launch today, he’d be chuckled at. Your two tier theory isn’t what I’m seeing around town. As to the bankers, they were shoved into making loans to the unqualified BUT went along willingly since they were backed by the taxpayer through various gov orgs. The banks that didn’t bite on that concept were labeled as racist and protested against. In essence, the banks were shoved into that corner and tried to make a profit from it with “bundling” and resale of the loans, but that failed eventually also. Had the loans “not” been guarenteed by Fannie and Freddie, I doubt they would have participated so vigorously. Outsourcing is a result of the minimum wage and union demands but also a result of tax policy. I agree with the left that companies should not be allowed to expense off a factory in Mexico so that they can close one here. I saw examples of that in my area,,,”profitable” factories that employed thousands closed and that infuriated me. Patriotism ring a bell?
