Pull Start how can i start my pocket bike without a pull start?
When ever i buy a pull start the inside always breaks and i need to know how to start it without the pull start
If you remove the pull start completely from the motor you could then wrap rope around the flywheel (make sure you wrap it in the correct direction of the motors rotation) then just pull as hard as you can. I would not consider using this method because in can cause injury and takes a very long time.Sometimes it doesent work, it only worked 4 times for me.

Would it be possible to put some sort of pull start on a typical American V8? I imagine you would need a pretty big pulley to get enough torque to turn it over with a rope and a couple of friends, but something the size of the flex plate might work. I have been wondering about this since a Cartalk puzzler in which guy supposedly pull started a jeep off road with a rope wrapped around one tire, which they jacked up. It was a stick shift though, but it was stuck in the mud or something so it couldn’t be pushed started.
Hook up a timing light and check for proper ignition timing.
If thats OK, Hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it over for 10-15 seconds to clear out all the residual gas in the intake. If the plugs are wet, there is WAY too much gas, or not enough air going to the engine.
