There are 10 pairs of rowers, that is, 10 left rowers and 10 right rowers. There is usually a Drummer seated in front of the boat and a Coxswain to steer the boat. So in total 22 in a Chinese Dragon Boat. Usually a reserve of 3-4 people should always be on stand-by.
