Racing Speed Boat
Song to play at my uncle’s funeral…?
My uncle just passed away at 44 years old after fighting cancer for over a year. He was a great, fun, outgoing man…my favorite uncle. He LOVED his toys: speed boats, race cars, 4 wheelers, and just about anything with speed. I’ve been asked to put together a video, which will be played at the funeral, that will include pictures and a bit of video of one of his last days with us. His last wish was to go out on a boat ride, and so we took him out and got some video of how happy he was. I was thinking of putting some songs from the Top Gun soundtrack, since my uncle was pretty much the same kind of man as Maverick (Tom Cruise) in the movie. He had “the need for speed” and for adventure.
Any other suggestions on songs I could us that are slow, appropriate, and representative of the kind of man he was?
