    I agree with shane unless you turbo or nos it you are gonna have to do alot more mods to it to get it to 300 at the crank, but it can be done.

    port and polish the head
    better springs and lifters
    aftermarket intake
    computer upgrade
    cams
    bore increase
    and if you want more add a turbo

    Okay, I may be being a little silly here. But, has anyone consider pumping a little forced induction into the mix. :P A little supercharged 9.9hp boat engine :D
