How to build a small (RC cars like) intern combustion engine?
HI, I would like to know if it is possible to build my own (small) intern combustion engine. Actually I want it for converting an electric RC car into a real one but I would like to build it without buying everything done.
Do you know any link where I can learn (perfect if it is a guide) how to build a small intern combustion engine?
Building a real engine as compared to an R/c is quite a task.... and it is like the man stated-- if you are not qualified as a mechanic than I would not even go there
I do not think anyone has ever built a REAL engine that SMALL... I do not even think it is possible

i dont unde stand rc cars and there engines?
Are you taking about gas powered RC cars or electric RC cars. If its gas powered, it works the same way as a real car. It has a gas tank, a 0.1 liter engine with 1-2HP and a small exhaust pipe, and a clutch and transmission.

Chips are very sensitive to static electricity and by swapping them around you could end up with no chips and two useless cars. The numbers on the chip just tell what frequency the chips receive on. It may be possible to find a 40 MHz chip to put in car A so that the one controller would work with both cars, but it would have to output the same commands as the original 49 in order to work. Take both cars and the working controller to a hobby shop and see what they can set up for you. It will cost a bit but you may get both cars back in operation.

I think you already know the answer. In fact, you probably already bought it. In case you're still in the dark… HELL YES!!! For $500.00 and that mileage, you'd be a complete doofus not to!
I think the '74 HiLux had like 7 moving parts – making it easy to maintain (aside from rust…) You will easily be able to put another 500,000 to 700,000 miles on that 1.8. And boy will it be fun!
