Stuffed Crankshaft
cant find parts for my 87 twin cam?
i have an 87 toyota corolla gts (ae86 chassis) and i need a crankshaft pulley which is apparently hard as hell to find. i live in puerto rico and junk yards here are crazy, i've searched all over the internet and the biggest problem i've encountered is that there seems to be some discrepancy in the actual name. some sites call it the crankshaft pulley, crank pulley, pulley damper, all kinds of stuff. i've searched under every possible combination of the above names and no one has it in stock (if they actually comprehended what i was asking for). the only suggestion i've gotten is a toyota dealer, and that isn't really an option considering i'm on a tight budget. i don't know what else to do and i'm looking for suggestions for maybe a website anyone knows of that i have not encountered, a phone number for a parts store. anything!! it doesn't matter if it's not in puerto rice, mail ordering is not a problem.
