Memphis Tigers College Football Tickets Available
Memphis Tigers is an intercollegiate team participating in Conference USA representing the University of Memphis. The team?s home is a massive 62,380 seater stadium called the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Donning jerseys in school colors blue and white, the college football team prides itself with remarkable alumni which include DeAngelo Williams who now plays with the Carolina Panthers. The Memphis Tigers also boasts of having 2 mascots?one of which is a live tiger who unfortunately died recently, and a costume-clad mascot by the name of Pouncer. Tom II, the teams? live tiger will be replaced by Tom III. Picking the right tiger wasn?t really easy, they had to pick one that encapsulates their vision of an appropriate representative of their university.
Since 2001, the Memphis Tigers? head coach has been Tommy West. He has served Clemson University before he transferred to Memphis. His son, Turner, is currently playing as wide receiver for the Tigers.
Early on the conference, Clinton McDonald, Quarterback Arkelon Hall, and Curtis Steele proved to be forces to be reckoned with. These players are stopping at nothing to beat their opponents and win glory for their school. Even with a splint, Hall continues to be an asset for the team. The team is set to meet up with 2 more games this season. Charlie Jones and Earnest Williams are just as important in the team as they have provided the touchdowns significantly. Wide Receiver Carlos Singleton is yet another athlete to watch out for. Alton Starr also leads the record with a whopping 70 tackle record which includes 4 tackles for loss, 3 pass breakups, fumble recovery and an interception.
Clinton McDonald leads the Memphis Tigers with seven sacks but is unfortunately injured right now in his ankle. Currently tied with the Marshall Thundering Herd at 2nd place currently for the conference stats, the Memphis Tigers will stop at nothing to bag the East division before anything else. The Tigers average 27.3 points per game matched with 242.7 passing yards and 196.6 rushing yards per game. They have remarkably lost only four fumbles in ten games. The team ranks 3rd among in Conference USA if we?re going to count the points allowed with a stingy 25.3 points per game. Most impressively, they top the total defense among the Conference USA teams with a striking 331.6 yards per game and ranks 43rd among in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
Over the past ten years fans have had their hearts broken when the Memphis Tigers have been the better team and yet lost the game on several occasions. The Memphis Tigers had a rough post season contention as they lost the first three games of the season and their top three quarterbacks but they are definitely going to give their 101% effort to make this year different for their fans. Their formula to win is simple?a powerful roster; an outstanding bounce from a humiliating loss streak; their passion, courage and will to win; and most importantly, the support of their fans.

To us, a Tiger (panthera tigris) is a symbol of power and superiority. (see: tiger woods, tiger airways & tiger air force, just kidding).
On a lighter side: I do know also a roaring Tiger in our barrio, (not a member of the cats family). When I was still in grade school several years ago, an old guy named “Tito” turned out to be a Tiger, as almost everybody in the community would call him as Tito Tiger, or Tigre.
Until recently, I had a chance to politely ask his wife, Divina, the reason behind why his husband Tito is called as Tito Tiger or “Tigre”.
Divina narrated to me the secret story behind the roaring Tiger, in a very hilarious way, – according to her during martial law years, then President Marcos had introduced the family planning program, whereby spouses were being encouraged by the government to use condoms or take pills, and/or use other chemical devices as contraceptive to avoid an unwanted pregnancy, or whatever. His husband would refuse to use condoms during their sexual encounters. Tito has an uncontrollable urge to have sexed with his wife almost every night despite the fact they had already produced 7-children then.
Until one night, Divina was able to find a viable solution to put a stop to the excessive desire of his husband in obedience to the call of flesh. Comes one night, “habang mahimbing na natutulog ang kanilang pitong anak sa sahig”, Divina provoked his husband to have sexed with her, but before his husband would fire his artillery, she touched his husband’s armament not knowing that her palm was full of Tiger Balm, and right then and there, she rubbed the tiger balm all over the private parts of his husband, thereupon, due to lingering and persistent pain in his private parts, Tito jumped out of the window naked, roaring and growling, to look for some water in the deep well in their backyard to ease the pain. And since then, his husband has earned the moniker as Tito Tiger or Tiger of San Ramon, a name culled from the words, Tiger Balm….. thereupon, spouses lived happily ever after.
Obviously biased question. The list does not, in fact contain “every operating system known to man”. Plan9 isn't there, Darwin isn't there, BSD isn't there.
What's more, the list quotes six versions of Windows (including two that aren't supported anymore) yet one of everything else. Why not Tiger, Panther and Leopard too then?
It's all made by someone who really, truly wishes the answer to be “Windows, in any way shape or form”.
As for OS/2: there are still people out there who have a sense of humor and know how to modify what OS gets reported by their browsers.
