Ode to Whale Wars and the Sea Shepherds
Ode to Whale Wars
Where the cold ocean runs far to the south,
You'll find the Sea Shepherds running their mouths
The Shepherd's gained fame on cable TV
Their program, Whale Wars is something to see
The Sea Shepherds aim to stop Japanese whalers
But the whale boats are bigger and they're better sailors
The Shepherds' Steve Irwin is still a fine boat
But the Japanese whalers act like it's a joke
Still they chase the whalers through snow and through ice
‘Cause those Japanese whalers you know can't be nice
Paul Watson is captain of the Sea Shepherd crew
His nemesis' boat is the Nisshin Maru
Peter Hammerstedt is Paul Watson's first mate
This pale sickly youth could not get a date
Pete's love for the whales is well known by all
But when the battle begins he stays safe with Paul
Paul's volunteer crew is ready to fight
They're all very brave, but not very bright
Delta and Gemini are their fast zodiacs
From these small boats they launch their attacks
To protect the whales they throw acid and howl
When the whalers throw back, the Sea Shepherds cry foul
At Paul Watson's command the boats swing away
And race for the whalers through icy cold spray
Chris Aultman then bravely takes up the chopper
If he'd stink-bomb the Nisshin, perhaps they could stop her
Chris buzzes the whalers then calls back to Peter
"They've killed a whale. Do you think they'll eat 'er?"
Pete takes the call while safe on the bridge
Then follows Paul down to see what's in the fridge
The Delta boat charges the Nisshin Maru
Stopping this giant will take their whole crew
This thick nylon rope will foul the Japanese prop
And this time the whalers will finally be stopped
They throw out the line before the great ship
And the Nisshin steams on without even a slip
Back on the bridge Paul listens for news
And asks, "Did they do what I told them to do?"
Those zodiac crews are a mutinous mob
They disregard orders and don't do their job
Now the Delta boat's crew is so disappointed
The prop fouler's lost and Paul's nose is disjointed
That rope was so strong that nothing could break it
This mission's a joke, but they still have to fake it
Peter comes on to remind us he's brave
But his interview will not any whales save
Their mission is righteous, they must give their all
But, Pete's first concern is always with Paul
Cause Green Peace saves whales but kicked Paul Watson out
Now Animal Planet gives Paul Watson his clout
The Gemini boat is now in the fight
They close on the whalers and throw with great might
But the bottles fall short, the Nisshin's too fast
And the whalers reply with a watery blast
The Gemini circles, they've still got to try
But the Japanese ship is six stories high
They race in once more to press their attack
And the water cannons again drive them back
Chris calls from above to report that they've failed
Paul comes on the screen, "We protected the whales!"
Those cold hearted whalers so evil and bad
Then blast the Sea Shepherds with that nasty LRAD
The peaceful Sea Shepherds can't stand this attack
They turn their small boats and quickly fall back
Again on Steve Irwin when every one's safe
They give interviews for the audience' sake
They tell of great deeds so noble and true
But they did not stop the Nisshin Maru
The whalers sail on, their black hearts unstirred
By these incompetent screwballs and Peter the nerd
They remind us that next time they will succeed
And the whalers will stop their dastardly deeds
But each week we watch the Sea Shepherds fail
We wonder how long till there are no more whales
Don't misunderstand my whimsical rhyme
I think that whaling should be a crime
But if the whales only hope lies with this crew
The future is bright for the Nisshin Maru

Hogan is done with wrestling, I dont understand why more and more people think he is coming back
He has already announced he doesn't want nothing to do with wrestling any more.
He wants to live the rest of his life in private.
