What is likely to happen if cooling water is not run through the condenser when the mixture is refluxed?
In this experiment, we will reflux a mixture of nutmeg and dichloromethane (bp 40 degree). What is likely to happen if cooling water is not run through the condenser when the mixture is refluxed?
The dichloromethane will eventually boil off to dryness and then the nutmeg will burn if the heat is high enough.

A cooling technique for fishes
A lot of people have taken upon the hobby of having fishes as pets. The aquariums range from the smallest to the most insane sizes. In the past, it used to be just fishes in the tank but now, you can bring in live corals in your aquariums. It's like looking directly at the ocean which is just great, isn't it?
However, proper care should also be given for them the fishes to continue living and giving joy to the people. For starters, the temperature of the water inside the aquarium should be taken into consideration. Fishes will die in high-temperature waters for a long time. As the temperature in the water rises, the level of oxygen decreases and fishes won't survive too long without oxygen. What can you do to prevent this from happening?
For starters, you can place your aquarium in a room where there's an air conditioning chiller to help regulate the temperature. However, this proves to be more costly in long run which will be more impractical. Another alternative is the use of water cooled chillers or process chillers to help take out heat from the water in the tank. But if you do this, you need to understand that process cooling absorbs the heat from the water, takes in cool air from outside and releases the heat externally. It is best that you do not place your chillers in an enclosed place.
When you have aquarium chillers set up, make sure that you perform the proper chiller maintenance regularly to avoid any malfunctions of the machine.
Installing aquarium chillers can help you save the fishes.

The [CM 690 is probably the best case in that price range. It’s the only one that has a painted interior as well as cable management. I like it because it isn’t very flashy but is still very good looking. And if you want to upgrade down the road, it has tons of features for water cooling built in.

I've heard that the stock hdd rack setup blocks a lot of the air coming from the front 230mm fan, is this true? I've seen a few people take the removable hdd rack/cage out and use the coolermaster 4 in 3 module to keep the hdd in the 5.25 bays so the front 230mm fan is unobstructed. I can see the advantage in doing this, but is it more of a hassle without much gain?
