Water Pickup
Installing new water pump on 83 chevy pickup. Oops, no gasket sealer! Can I use oil, brake fluid, gojo...???
I do have the paper-like gaskets that came with the new water pump. Just don't have any gasket sealer. Is there something I can use that will work just as well?
I have no silicone stuff, no gasket sealer, etc. I have no way to get to the store (15 miles from civilization in the sticks, transmitting by satellite). I have oil, vaseline, brake fluid, gojo hand cleaner (creamy stuff that smells like gas).

JB, do you mean I don't need to use any kind of sealer, just the paper-like gaskets alone? (They're tough material, I just always thought you had to use a sealer with them.)
as long as both mating surfaces are clean and free of the old gasket material it should seal fine with the new gasket........................yes it will seal without silicone gasket sealer

So if they spay water on the radioactivÂe sight doesn’t the water pickup the radioactivÂity then get into the water system through the various ways that water travels? Yikes

Oh man…. makes me want to go on a cruise again. So excited for you!
I've been to Grand Cayman and Cozumel twice. If you want to go snorkeling, this company was great, very affordable and spent more time (with a small group) out in the water. Their pickup/location is right down the street from the cruise port. These (3 locations) are the best snorkeling places I've ever been. Plus you can hold stingrays if you dare
I also really enjoyed this place. Not sure if it's the same tour provider since I booked it with Carnival, but it's the same location (very cool family run land/business with cenotes, biking, good traditional food, and fun ziplines). I have a ton of photos from this excursion as a local young guy took lots of digital photos (high quality) and sold the photos on a cd for $15 or something cheap like that. Great for when you don't want to carry your digital camera around. We went into crystal clear caves for a little swimming and really pretty natural pools of water after ziplining. Ended it with a yummy lunch. Very nice way to spend 5.5 hrs in Cozumel!

That depends if you have everything you initially agreed upon in writing. If you do, it may work. If not, it's your word against his. This guy is definitely stalling, and seems to have no reason to be failing to meet your deadline. Suing may be futile if you have no proof of this deal. Good luck!
